מכון בעל הסולם הוקם על ידי מורנו ורבנו הרב אברהם ברנדווין זצ״ל, ופועל קרוב לעשרים שנה במטרה ראשונה במעלה: להפיץ, ללמוד וללמד את תורת הקבלה, ספר הזוהר, התיקונים וכתבי האריז״ל — על פי פירושיו הגדולים של מרן הרב יהודה הלוי אשלג זצ״ל, בעל פירוש הסולם לספר הזוהר. The Baal HaSulam Institute was founded by our teacher and master Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, of blessed memory, and has worked for nearly twenty years toward one foremost aim: to spread, study and teach the wisdom of Kabbalah — the Zohar, the Tikkunim and the writings of the Ari — according to the great commentaries of Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi Ashlag, author of the Sulam commentary on the Zohar.

His great works, essays and writings open before us the essence of the wisdom of Kabbalah, and show above all how it holds within it the conditions and order essential to the life of the individual and of society in the last generation. Understanding this order is decisive for humanity and its future. Spreading this wisdom among the people is therefore a sacred duty.

עריכת ספרי יסוד מבין מאמריו וכתביו של מרן בעל הסולם. ספרים אלו יהוו נדבך נוסף בהפצת החכמה, ועליהם תתבסס סדרת השיעורים וההרצאות לקהל הרחב.Editing foundational books drawn from the essays and writings of Baal HaSulam. These books will form a further layer in spreading the wisdom, and the public lessons and lectures will be built on them.

הקמת תנועה חברתית הקוראת לממש ולקיים את סדרי החיים של היחיד והחברה כפי שהם נלמדים בחכמת הקבלה. חזון התנועה הוא הקמת חברת מופת — ״ממלכת כהנים וגוי קדוש״ — חברה שבה יתממש השלום בעולם ברוח הנביאים: ״וְכִתְּתוּ חַרְבוֹתָם לְאִתִּים וַחֲנִיתוֹתֵיהֶם לְמַזְמֵרוֹת, לֹא יִשָּׂא גוֹי אֶל גּוֹי חֶרֶב וְלֹא יִלְמְדוּ עוֹד מִלְחָמָה״, ״וּמָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ דֵּעָה אֶת ה׳ כַּמַּיִם לַיָּם מְכַסִּים״. חברה שבה יזכה כל יחיד לממש את חירותו הנפשית והגופנית כאחד.Founding a social movement that calls for living out the order of life for the individual and society as it is taught in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Its vision is an exemplary society — “a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” — in which peace is realized in the spirit of the prophets: “they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more”, “for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” A society in which every individual can realize their freedom of soul and body alike.
